Exactly what do the statistics reveal? Well, the most significant stat for me personally is always the estimated refund rate. I obtain this from looking at the EPS figure, which would be 75% of the price, minus the CB fee, if there were no refunds. If those don’t match then either
(a) refunds were requested (b) the seller has changed the price (c) the seller is selling numerous products via the same account (d) I’ve estimated the price wrongly aboveTherefore, as you can easily see, it’s not, unfortunately, the most precise of statistics. Here though, if it is correct it is shockingly low, and suggests the vast majority of customers were happy with their purchase.
An additional statistic we can look at is known as the Gravity. This gives us an idea of the number of affiliates that have been selling the product (have no idea what an affiliate is? See this link). Products with a lot of gravity are really well-known ones, but that does not automatically mean they are any good. In the same way, low gravity products, may very well be excellent but just don’t have the recognition yet. For this particular product the gravity of 0 is standard.
